Umineko is one of those series that I kind of want everyone to read,  just because it has so much to offer. like you want excellent prose, it’s got excellent prose. you want action, it’s got action. you want romance, gore, and mind-boggling mystery?? it’s got all of those too!

and with each re-reading the series changes, first drastically when you know the answer after Chiru, and then less drastically even when you reread it for a third, fourth, or fifth time as you put together all the pieces of the minor mysteries you didn’t think so much about before

not to mention I cannot think of a single other series which literally does not even have oNE weak female character—the entire cast of Umineko women is strong in the sense that all the women are VERY different and express their strength in different ways. it also ranges from portraying girls all the way from ages six and nine to women in their mid-fifties in a realistic fashion, and they’re all very complex and tragic and wonderful

basically I love Umineko and u love Umineko and everyone should love Umineko is what I’m sayin
